Progressive certification from Green Plank Foundation through Certified Decking, System, and Advanced Installer qualifications.
Certification levels
Each level unlocks the next. Certified Decking Installer is required before appearing in the public installer directory.
Foundation, Certified Decking Installer, System Installer, and Advanced Installer tracks prepare partners for specification-grade installations across decking, cladding, and fencing.
Exam rules
- 20 random questions
- 80% pass score required
- 3 attempts, then 24-hour lockout
- 30 minute time limit
- Certificate valid for 24 months
- You can leave an exam and continue later, or restart for a fresh attempt — only submitted results count toward your attempt limit

Approved installers access the academy from the partner portal after application approval.
Installers cannot appear on Find Builder until they pass the Level 2 exam (Certified Decking Installer) or higher and Green Plank publishes their profile. Find Builder
Your service location is created automatically when your installer application is approved — you do not add branches manually in the portal.
